A few things to know.
Does Kroma upload my videos?
No. Video processing happens locally in the desktop app. The initial media-tool setup needs internet; your videos are not part of that download.
Which Macs does it target?
The universal app contains Intel and Apple Silicon versions and targets macOS 12 Monterey or later. Older macOS releases, iPhone and iPad are not supported. Compatibility on every Mac has not yet been verified.
Is this a finished public release?
This download is a test build. It is not Apple-notarized, and macOS may warn about or block it. Full desktop acceptance testing is still pending. Don’t disable macOS security protections to run it.
Can I convert a video on this website?
This website introduces Kroma and provides the Mac download. Import and conversion happen inside the desktop app.
Are all four languages available in the app?
This website is available in English, Arabic, French and Spanish. The current desktop interface is in English.
